Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica 70%Sativa 30%
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Yellow Zushi
Yellow Zushi is an indica-dominant hybrid strain that is a genetic cross between the legendary Zkittlez strain and the Kush Mints strain. Alternately, another version crosses Gelato with Zkittlez, though not much is known about this variety. The aroma of the Kush Mints cross is sweet and candy-like, with prevailing citrus notes. During the smoke, Yellow Zushi tastes like ripe citrus with pine and earthy accents. There's also an essence of menthol present, taken from its Kush Mints lineage. These buds mix lime greens, dark greens, and purples, contrasted with thick orange hairs and a dusting of white trichomes
