Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 70%Sativa 30%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Yorker

The male 4SDWhiteFire used in this cross was from seedstock gifted to us from Keeper Seeds. They are a new seedbank to definitely watch out for when they release their work. This male adds another dimesion and frost coverage to the already stellar knockdown potency of the Pink Mars OG strain. There is also a slight diesel taste to the aftersmoke from the male and this cross is another outstanding strain to have in our lineup. Will perform well indoors and in a variety of mediums used, but really out performs itself outdoors and the strain yields extremely well too. Flowering Times: 8-10 weeks
