Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Sativa 100%
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Zamaldelica x Papua New Guinea
Zamaldelica x Papua New Guinea Sativa is an elite F1 polyhybrid created by pollinating our Zamaldelica mother in an orgy with over 30 Papua New Guinea sativa males. This 100% sativa hybrid is highly vigorous, strongly branched, and exceptionally resistant to mold, making it ideal for outdoor cultivation in tropical and subtropical climates, though experienced indoor growers with enough space can also manage it successfully. The plant develops complex fruity and herbal terpenes, including mango, orange, lemon, sweet carrot, flowers, and fruity candy notes, producing powerful, uplifting, and happy cerebral effects that are both pleasant and energizing. With a moderate-long flowering time, this hybrid is adaptable, productive, and reliable, providing average to high yields while thriving in challenging conditions thanks to excellent resistance to botrytis, heat, cold, powdery mildew, whitefly, and spider mites.
