Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). Zoo Blood is a cross of West Creek’s Cherry Wine F2 and our La Crema male. Cherry wine should need no introduction, but the F2’s from West creek brought out some unique differences not found in the originals. Heavy yielding and reliably compliant, cherry wine grows typical of a 50/50 hybrid with slight fox tailing if taken too long and notes of tart cherry, sour citrus, and floral musk. Combined with our La Crema, a cbg dominant frost monster, expect a medium to heavy yielder that packs both the resin and the terms into one wild specimen
